Haryana CM Manohar Lal lays the foundation stone of 11 new colleges in the state on the holy festival of Rakshabandhan

The Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar, today, has laid the foundation stone of the colleges to be built at  Pratap Nagar in Yamunanagar district, Bhainswal Kalan and Baroda in Sonipat district, Agroha in Hisar district, Gauriwala in Sirsa district, Isarwal in Bhiwani district, Morni in Panchkula district, Rajaund in Kaithal district , Chhatar in Jind district, Ferozepur Jhirka in Nuh district through online video conference from Panchkula.

He said that 86 new colleges have been started in the last five and a half years and today, 11 new government colleges have been started and thus, total 97 new colleges have been started in the state during his reign and the students of the state are able to get higher education within a radius of 15 km. Chief Minister Manohar Lal's announcement of the opening of a new government college in Pratap Nagar town of Yamunanagar district was organized in the town's Senior Secondary School Pratap Nagar under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mukul Kumar.

Chief Guest Deputy Commissioner Mukul Kumar was welcomed with a tilak and after that Deputy Commissioner Mukul Kumar, along with SDM Dr. Vinesh Kumar of Bilaspur, Block Development and Panchayat Officer Jogesh Kumar and other officials planted the seeds in the school premises and also tied rakhi to the plants under Rakshabandhan program.

In the beginning of the online program of state colleges, 11 colleges were gifted to the state in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Ji, Cabinet Education Minister Kanwar Pal Ji, Union Minister of State for Water Power Ratan Lal Kataria Ji, Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta Ji and Education Department Director Balaji Joshi and other high officials of Education Department.

Speaking at the program organized in Pratap Nagar, Chief Guest Deputy Commissioner Mukul Kumar said that with the opening of the college in Pratap Nagar in the district, the students of the area will no longer have to go far for higher education and the admission process and the classes will be started very soon in this college. He said that this has been possible due to the efforts of CM Manohar Lal and Haryana Cabinet Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.
