Additional restrictions imposed within municipal limits in the district

Kapurthala,18 August (Hindustan Ekta) Deputy commissioner cum District magistrate Deepti Uppal has ordered the additional restrictions within the municipal limits of all the cities (municipal councils, corporations and Nagar panchayats) with the effect from August 18-2020 till further orders on account of a sudden rise in COVID-19 cases in urban areas. Under the new restrictions movement of individuals for all the non-essential activities will remain prohibited between 9 PM to 5 AM within the municipal limits of municipal corporations, municipal councils and Nagar panchayat of district Kapurthala. However essential activities including operation of multiple shifts, movement of person and goods on national and state highways, unloading of cargo and travel of person to their destination after disembarking from buses, trains and aeroplanes will be permitted. Vaishno devi yatra started again

Chandigarh, 18 August(Hindustan Ekta) The famous Mata Vaishno Devi temple located in Trikuta Hills of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, has been opened for devotees on Sunday.  After about 5 months, the journey of Mata Vaishno Devi has started again. Maa Vaishno Devi Yatra was stopped from March 18, 2020 due to the corona epidemic.  Now the yatra is going to be resumed again  by Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, many changes have been made in it.  * Neither tilak nor prasad was received *  On the first day of the yatra on Sunday, only 100 to 150 devotees reached the temple.  As before, priests inside the Mata Vaishno Devi temple are no longer applying tilak to the devotees nor are offerings being made to the devotees.  Actually the Prasad shops in Katra are also closed now.  Devotees turn their heads and come out.  Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board is taking full care of social distance.  * Guidelines issued *  During the yatra, some guide...
