Tirtha priests submit memorandum to sports minister for the permission of ritual pind daan

Pehowa,21 August(Hindustan Ekta)

Tirtha priests submitted a memorandum to the sports Minister Sandeep Singh regarding the security of the four ancient monuments built on the Saraswati shrine and the arrangement of performing ritual pind daan on the day of Amavasya. In the memorandum, the pioneers of Brahmin society Gopal Kaushik, Ashish Chakrapani, Rakesh Purohit, Kuldeep Chhatriwala, Vinod Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Sonu Sharma, Rajendra Kumar, Subhash Sharma and Pushpraj Sharma etc. said that all the shrine priests would cooperate in the beautification campaign being run by the administration on the Saraswati shrine. But they have a demand that during construction of the new bridge, the four ancient bastions built here should not be broken. These bastions are a very ancient sign as a heritage of their forefathers.

The Brahmin society demands that the bridge be constructed in such a way that these bastions are preserved. Apart from this, from the time of Chaitra Chaudas fair till now, Saraswati shrine is almost like bandh. On the occasion of Amavasya and Chaudas, rituals are banned here. Due to which both devotees and pilgrim priests are facing problems. Their demand is that the administration should make such a system that all the work can be done continuously by following the rules like social distancing regarding corona. The pilgrimage priests said that during the ban some travelers enter the pilgrimage area from other routes. Due to which the Brahmin society and the traveler has to face difficulties and in the eyes of the administration, they have to suffer neglect. On the demand of Brahmin society, the Sports Minister said that whatever decision will be taken regarding the pilgrimage. In it, the entire opinion of Brahmin society and pilgrimage priests will be taken. The government, administration and pilgrimage priests will work together to make such a arrangement that no one gets in trouble and the work goes on continuously. After the assurance of the minister, the pilgrim priest appeared satisfied.
